Metro, battalions follow on scene at 11800 West Cagle, confirming Light Force 98's size-up. We have a third of an acre of grass going uphill, light wind, 1 to 2 miles per hour, no structures threatened. Fire is in the MTZ, but in the LRA, we will be able to handle with the resources. Battalion 12, roger.

Battalion 12, roger. Have Metro Life Force 98 on scene at Cagle Canyon and Foothill. We have a homeless encampment with approximately a quarter acre of light grass, slow rate of spread. We're going to be able to handle with the resources we have on scene. I'll be known as Cagle IC. And we'll have the rescue...

Yeah, Metro from Engine 98. This is larger than a rubbish fire. Let's attach our life force with one additional engine. That'll be a task force. We do have grass going. We have grass going just behind the address in addition to a large homeless encampment. Right now we'll be known as Cagle Canyon IC. The patch of grass is probably about, it's probably about a meter. Oh, you just.

Disgusting. Something needs to be done about surge of encampments. It’s out of control The city needs to find a legitimate place for them to camp while they find permanent housing. If they don’t accept permanent housing they need to go somewhere else. Too much disruption!

Homeless people start the fires, lafd puts them out, city does nothing. Repeat. Someone is going to get hurt. Enough!

Speak at the city council meetings. You can call in. Local council Monica Rodriguez has not cleaned this. It's time to take action before one of us dies
