Following the shooting, the suspects fled the scene in a white Ford Econoline van that was last seen traveling southbound on the Cross Island Parkway. The victim was transported by private means to One Brooklyn Health–Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.

According to police, on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at approximately 3:45 p.m., a 30-year-old male victim was in front of 96-21 57 Avenue when he was approached by two unidentified individuals wearing masks. During the encounter, one of the suspects discharged a firearm, striking the victim in both legs.

The New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the individuals and vehicle shown in the attached media in connection with a non-fatal shooting that occurred within the confines of the 110 Precinct.
