According to an update from News 12 Brooklyn, the 25-year old driver was taken into custody after leading officers on a pursuit through the streets of East New York on Tuesday night. The driver struck one officer in the leg while attempting to flee the scene in a dark-colored sedan, prompting one officer to fire at least one gunshot, per an article from the New York Post. The injured officer was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.
