The zoo says it's monitoring two additional peacocks until they return to the park.
Zoo officials say that five peacocks which strayed from the park grounds have been brought home. They say it is not uncommon for the free-roaming peacocks to occasionally leave and that they usually return on their own.
The address reported for this incident has changed to 1050 Pelham Pkwy S.
Video shows several of the colorful plumed birds near the Bronx and Pelham Parkway, apparently a greater number than what was reported to police.
A 911 caller has reported an unconfirmed incident at Pelham Pkwy N & Bronxwood Ave.
