Around 1:30 a.m., police responded to a 911 call reporting an assault on Atlantic Avenue. Upon arrival, they found a 24-year-old man shot in the chest, who later died at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. Two others, aged 45 and 26, sustained gunshot wounds but are in stable condition.
