Two Workers Rescued From 42nd Floor Hanging Scaffolding

Medics are evaluating the two workers.

Firefighters requested personnel from the Department of Buildings to the scene.

Firefighters have secured the scaffolding.

Firefighters were able to cut through the glass siding and pull the workers back inside the building.

Firefighters ensured the power was cut off from the scaffold and are now preparing to cut the glass to rescue the workers.

Firefighters stated the workers on the scaffold are not injured and clarified they are trapped on the outside of the building at the 42nd floor.

Officers stated the scaffold is stable but stuck and lost power.
