Police have detained 54-year-old Patrick Thompson as a suspect in the stabbing. Both of the victims are believed by the SFPD to be in non-life-threatening condition.

Officers have a more detailed suspect description based on surveillance video. He is described as a Black man who is possibly 50, bald-headed, last seen wearing a white face mask, a black sweatshirt, blue torn jeans with a brown belt, and black-and-white Nike shoes. He was last seen with a black duffel bag.

Officers advise one of the victims is en route to an area hospital.

Officers describe the suspect as a Black man, 6', heavy build, last seen wearing a black long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and black-and-white Nike shoes. He was last seen with a green gym bag going northbound on Stockton Street.

Officers at the scene confirm two people stabbed. One of them still has a knife in their arm. They are requesting two ambulances.

Police have received an unconfirmed report of a person stabbed.
