The issue with this socialism is that once you give up those rights for those securities, you never get them back. A history book on socialism by Ludwig von Mies, or Hayek, or just reading about the history of Mao Zedong in China or Stalin in Russia should be enough to show that this is not sufficient. There are innumerable problems I think with free market and capitalism presently, but swinging in the complete other direction to solve the problem is not the answer.
@Type1Eric socialism is like a parasite, you accept their breadcrumbs and become the administration’s slave
You’re worried about crime needs being met, but when you import millions of people as happened under Biden, crime goes up. When you have soft on crime judges that release offenders after multiple crimes, the problem gets worse. You can’t have safe neighborhoods and light on crime approaches.
