Police have received a report of a pickup truck that hit a child near West High School. The driver reportedly stopped to check on the child and then fled westbound.

Happened about 5 minutes ago, but we had a pickup truck versus a pedestrian by West High School on Channel. The truck did stop, checked on the kid, and then took off westbound. 28 on it is Tom Young, 8649. It's coming back to 812 Shea. The child did not look like they had any injuries.
