They're advising that an older thermostat they thought was disconnected. They tried taking it off the wall. That has now turned the baseboard heater on. They're unable to get it off, and it's giving off an odd smell. I do have the occupant stepping out. Dispatch clear, 1232. Dispatch, Mech 1's on scene.
