Saying they were looking at their phone takes away their accountability giving them an out and an excuse. They ran over a child knowing full well children go to school in the mornings on a weekday and flashing yellow lights is for the safety of those children. They CHOOSE to ignore the safety of others around them. It’s not always a “on the phone” situation. It’s 100% they “don’t give a damn” situation.
A big issue I’ve been noticing in Houston is people going around stopped buses, people running stop signs and speeding in school zones. Houston, what’s going on?
Need better enforcement on school zones, literally everyone goes above 30
People who are driving need to pay attention and get off their phones.
