Breaks my heart cause 98% of the people just want to enjoy a community event..and some hooligan shit got all of LAPD on Crenshaw
That part
We walked over to MLK and Crenshaw around 6 and it was peaceful. Sad to see the vendors shutting down and the gospel concert canceled.
This is sad. How yall worried about barrio athletics and then allow the crips and bloods to ruin everything over there
I’ve lived in the neighborhood within walking distance of this event for almost 30 years and have never attended this event & have never had the desire to attend. After observing the annual outcome, I feel justified keeping it this way. No event is worth risking my safety even in the name of community, collaboration & togetherness. Nope! Won’t do it!🙏🏽
