You guys are being very uneducated about this situation. There’s a reason why so many police officers may be sent to one location. If there’s a possibility that someone has multiple weapons, or that there could be a mass shooting, law enforcement has to take those risks seriously and prepare for the worst-case scenario. It’s not necessarily about overreacting; it’s about protecting innocent people and preventing a potential tragedy. You shouldn’t judge the situation without understanding why that level of response might be necessary.
