Are you talking about the Ferndale Avenue Crew?

I passed by the scene, and it looked like a head on collision, as both vehicles had severe damage to the front. Since it happened near an exit, I wonder if a drunk driver accidentally entered the highway going the wrong way and collided with another vehicle. Just a possibility, but it would explain the damage. Hope everyone involved is okay.

Something needs to be done on Staten Island regarding the amount of accidents happening daily. You have to have ten eyes to cross the street and when in a car be wrapped in iron shields because of careless drivers. I don’t know how these people got a driving license. I hear the cars drag racing sometimes or I see them pushing their way in traffic at high speeds and getting close to cars and some with anger issues if you’re not driving fast enough. Someone told me last night that drivers in Staten Island are the worst and most dangerous and careless drivers compared to other states he’s observed.

The Westshore Expressway is horrible just equally as the Staten Island Expressway. Because it’s such a straight stretch of road until you get about Muldoon people fly and zigzag between the lanes. What I don’t understand is why don’t they have a police officer posted at the entrance of the Westshore Expressway and Staten Island Expressway and why they don’t have another one down the road to catch these people that are speeding or drag racing down this expressway. If that were to happen, possibly these types of incidents would slow down. It’s unfortunate that they do happen and that there are negligent drivers on the road. Because of accidents like this, it’s why our premiums keep going up. Us good drivers who abide by the rules have to pay for the negligence of others.

They're there during the day for sure because I constantly see people pulled over but they need more police presence at night. The WS Expressway is a ghost town at night giving people the incentive to speed because they no there's nobody there not even the cops.
