Dispatch Engine 8, the technician had not contacted staff regarding system testing in the building. They'll be continuing to do so, but they should not be calling for future alarms. Engine 8 will be returning to service. Received. Technician did not notify staff before doing the test of the fire alarm. They will be continuing to test, but no further calls should be coming in. Engine 8 going back into service, 926.

Initial assignment en route for report of smoke in a building at Abbott Northwestern Hospital, 800 East 28th Street on the fourth floor near the cardiac unit. Staff also reporting elevators are down. Security will be meeting responders at 28th Street and Chicago for entry and directions. Again, 28th and Chicago, security will be waiting for firefighters. Ladder 3 to acknowledge the run.
