I hate to say it, but cyclists are always disobeying the traffic laws. I drive a truck for a living, and they do nothing but cut you off, making things even more unsafe. I feel sorry for their injuries, but they probably dodged so many other injuries that this one caught up to them.
I hope the bicycle rider learns his lesson today. Bicycle entitlement is getting out of control in San Francisco. Perhaps, SFPD can enforce traffic laws strictly in busy areas. MUNI is not always at fault when someone runs a "Red" Light.
