Stop letting your children go out at such a young age. That’s the real issue. Too many kids are out in these streets without proper supervision, guidance, or the attention they need. Children need love, structure, and someone looking out for them. We have to stop thinking that a 12- or 14-year-old is old enough to fend for themselves. These streets are not the safe haven they used to be. Our children need us to be present, involved, and intentional about protecting and guiding them. It truly takes a village.
