This is the problem with letting business owners make money off of a vacant building for years as a tax write off. I get it if it's like 2 years but I've seen building empty for years and years and creating space for people to trash and being down look, value, and safety of a neighborhood. There has to be a limit for that kind of write off bc there is no incentive for the owners to find tenants.
