Twenty-Acre Grass Fire Spreading to Cedars

Battalion 5 from APD, Air 1, just verifying, do you want us to stay on 202 or are you all on fire attack now?

The only thing that we're seeing, a little more heavy on this west side.

We're going to do a couple more orbits, though, to see if it's just burning within the black and they're all eyelids or if it's concerned.

DPS 1 has stated that there's only a hot spot up in the northeast corner.

Yes, sir, I've got a can report for you.

We pretty much saw some forward progress of the fire headed towards Laws Road.

Our actions were just continued to mop up and no needs at times.

I do have my two dozers that are coming back here just going to cut a line

and make sure that it doesn't progress through this wooded area that we have.

The fire's forward progress has been stopped, with dozers cutting a line to prevent spread.

Received, sir. I've had to work myself back towards the left thumb because I'm still getting little, I see little spots and spot fires, and I'm trying to push it and build a berm around it.

So, I'm going to keep the fire on my right side and keep hugging it until I can get a better path for everybody.

That's affirmative. We came in on the line behind you and then cut into the black, and we're ahead of you right now.

I don't have any active fire right now. If you see anything that needs a little water on it, holler at us and we'll come put a little water on it.
