Chief 2's en route, 286 Thomas Ave. Chief 2, 286 Thomas Ave, upper unit. Originally called in by a neighbor reporting the alarm sounding and smell of smoke. Neighbor did talk to the person in the upper unit at that address who advised it was just a pan on the stove. The alarm is no longer sounding, and he said he needs no assistance.
