Hey guys! Mesa PD just responded back: On September 18th just after 8:15 p.m., Mesa Police attempted to conduct a traffic stop in the area of 63rd Street and Main Street. The subject officers were attempting to contact fled on foot, jumped a walk into a residential backyard and attempted to hide in the backyard. Officers were able to locate and detain the subject. Officers are still conducting their investigation, so I don't have any additional details regarding whether the subject will be arrested or what charges may be considered. However, there is no threat to the community. Respectfully,
