Henderson police say Shawn James Baird used local obituary listings to identify recently deceased homeowners and burglarized multiple homes, allegedly stealing at least $300,000 in collectible coins, sports memorabilia, and jewelry. Baird and an alleged accomplice, Yolanda Marie Gonzalez, were arrested and booked on home invasion, burglary and grand larceny charges.
