Update the individual was standing on the platform and intentionally jumped onto the tracks as the Queens-bound E train approached. The train was unable to stop in time, and emergency crews were called to extricate the person from under the train.

Has anything been actually confirmed about this? We've got people claiming someone jumped, people claiming they were personally evacuated from an affected station... I was walking past this last night. We had vehicles from all 3 branches there. Both fire, and police had the kind of vehicles you need on hand to throw packages that can explode in the back, 75th. AND Continental. The firehouse right on 75th? The firefighters were standing and watching. But not running down. But were running vehicles up to union and down to 71st. All this and nothing is effing confirmed or clear. What the hell happened
