20. Yes, sir. Have your SD4, Sam, this boat looks like it's been here for a while. It's full of debris and pores and whatnot. So, they're going to pull it up and they'll take another look at it? I copy.

Responders report the boat appears abandoned, with leaves and debris inside. No one is found in it.

Columbus FD BN6 FG · 0:16
Engine 183 to command, looks like the boat's been there a while. There's leaves and everything else. Nobody in it. Engine 183, is that you right there at the boat? It's Rescue 4, but yeah, we're right behind them. Message received.

The helicopter is assisting by directing responders to specific areas near the water for further investigation.

Columbus PD Zn 2 (SE) Dispatch · 0:31
Chopper 2. Go ahead. Alright, let me get one of the guys down there by the, uh, the two garages there. Go ahead, chopper. Alright, come to your east, past that last garage, east, get me to the, uh, first, uh, apartment building right there, the patio that's boot, that's like black and white checkered. That's the one. Now, I want you to stop right there and turn a hard right straight into the water. And about 20 feet, uh, 15 feet out from the... The bank is...

Responders are coordinating to launch a boat from the east side of the lake for further investigation.

Columbus PD Zn 2 (SE) Dispatch · 0:30
Fire is looking for a way to get in. They're going to want to go over to the east side of the lake here by where Heavy Rescue R4 is. I think that's the best way to drop a boat in the water to get over to that side of the bank. Officers that are walking east to those, yeah, right there where that fire crew is, in the wood line between those two garages is where the boat's at. Yeah, you guys got it right there. It's actually going to be just slightly east of that, but you guys are right there on the right. Director.
Columbus FD BN6 FG · 0:20
MS 14, Battalion 1A1. Helicopter's saying that they wanted to launch a boat. The best way is to launch it ever by where Rescue 4 is positioned. MS received. Rescue 4, do you copy direct? Yeah, we copy.

Responders report no signs of anyone in the water; efforts continue around the pond's perimeter.

Columbus FD BN6 FG · 0:26
Engine 4, Battalion 181, do you have a launch site? Boat 4 is on scene. Call the fire command, Q. Command, no obvious launch spot. We're still walking around the perimeter. All companies be advised, CPD has nothing from the air over the area. They reported caller did not see anybody swimming or anything in the water. They just noticed the boat.

A yellow boat has been located on the north side of the bank, and responders are directing efforts there.

Columbus PD Zn 2 (SE) Dispatch · 0:24
In terms of those units off this 20, we're not seeing anything obviously sticking out to us after doing a couple warrants off the bank. I-140, should be a yellow boat up against the bank. If you could direct us to it, that would be great. So the yellow boat is going to be on the north side of the bank in the middle.
