That what probably made neighborhood safe though.Columbia bought properties when it was ghetto.
… so on that note, I agree to keep it closed off. Now on the other hand, as a person who has to then take the longer routes to get across, I understand what a headache is created and loss of a beautiful stroll through historic grounds. But it should remain closed. They are more liable if they don’t keep those who are a part of Columbia safe vs. dealing with angry people who don’t want to lose their privileges.
Technically is not a “public walkway”, it’s “private property”! If you are suppose to be able to walk through, then you would be able to. People simply don’t want to have to walk around the other routes, especially if it means leaving where they feel “safe” 🙄
