The officer was investigating a separate traffic collision in the 13550 block of Foothill Boulevard just before 7:50 p.m. when a passing vehicle crashed into the officer in Sylmar. Suspect drove off in an older gold Tahoe/suburban with multiple roof top antennas sticking out per eye witness. Massive police response and multiple copters looking for the guy. They got a plate and found the car in Pacoima about 3 miles away and the guy close by.
