According to an update from Notify NYC, due to a vehicle fire, all westbound lanes of the Bruckner Expressway are closed at East 149th Street in The Bronx.

Firefighters state the fire is now under control, and one patient is currently being assessed. All other incoming units have been canceled, though the southbound Bruckner remains blocked off.

One northbound lane is now open on the Bruckner Expressway while southbound lanes remain fully closed. HazMat teams are responding to the scene, and police have been requested for traffic control.
