I’m so sorry about the audio earlier. My phone connected to my vehicle, which was definitely a first! Here’s a quick recap of what we saw: Mesa Police are currently investigating an incident near Power Road and Broadway Road. Eastbound Broadway from Power Road is shut down, along with westbound traffic approaching Power from the Jefferson Park area. When we arrived, one person was on the ground and was transported by Mesa Fire and Medical. A damaged vehicle, a bumper in the roadway and a broken street sign were also visible at the scene. The Mesa Police Crime Scene Investigation Unit is on scene, and at this time, it remains unclear exactly what led up to the incident. We have reached out to Mesa Police for additional information and will continue providing updates on the Citizen app as we learn more.
