12-27, 12-29, for a suspicious person, 1401 Merrick Boulevard, 1401 Merrick Boulevard, near Ive Lane and German Hill Road at Aldi. Hannah said an attempting, attempted shoplifter knocked things over, trying to get away. Caller has the subject's ID. Caller also has the subject's keys, ID, and cell phone that was in a bag with items that he tried to steal. Suspect left on foot, unknown direction of travel. White male, late 40s, wearing tan and brown shorts, white t-shirt.
