Are there any witnesses on the scene? That's a negative. No witnesses to the fire actually being started. Just a conversation one of the renters had with someone they had help them cleaning out the garage.

804. Yeah, 804, this is Sergeant Green, Ladder 13. The renters here are stating that they had to help them clean their garage out, and this person stated to them about mid-up or gate of it, and then the fire happened. Said there was a gas can back there. Homeowners or the renters are talking with the police right now here.
