Just Posted on the Berwyn Police Dept FB page Based on information gathered thus far, investigators believe the driver may have experienced a medical emergency immediately prior to the collision, causing him to lose control of the vehicle. The official cause and manner of death remain pending the medical examiner’s findings. The driver, a 48-year-old Berwyn resident, was treated at the scene by the Berwyn Fire Department and transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. No other injuries were reported.
