Woman Fatally Struck by Train at 161 St-Yankee Stadium Station

Two additional EMS units are being sent to assist MTA personnel at the scene.

The MTA suggests the following travel alternatives: - Take a 4 train for service between 161 St-Yankee Stadium and Bedford Park Blvd. - Consider a Bx10 or Bx34 bus making nearby stops between Bedford Park Blvd and Norwood-205 St.

The MTA now confirms service is partially suspended in the Bronx: - No B service between Bedford Park Blvd and 145 St. - No D service between Norwood-205 St and 145 St.

ESU personnel are expected to arrive at the station in about five minutes.

The individual is located under train car 2745. Officers are unable to determine whether she is awake or breathing from where they are located.

Power has been confirmed shut down on the southbound tracks, per dispatch.

The person struck by the train is located towards the rear of the station, according to the train conductor.

EMS units have arrived at the scene.

Witnesses report the individual was not the victim of a crime, per police.
