Vehicle Collision Incident Report At approximately 2247 Hours: a gray Ford Taurus traveling eastbound through the roundabout at an apparent speed approximately 30 MPH. The vehicle lost control while navigating the roundabout, drifted, and collided with a light pole. Following the collision, the driver appeared dazed but was conscious and appeared to be in stable condition. The driver-side door was pinned inward as a result of the collision, and the vehicle’s airbags did not deploy. I advised the driver that, if he was physically able to do so safely, he should move toward the passenger side of the vehicle rather than attempting to exit through the damaged driver-side door. The driver followed the advisement and moved to the passenger side. He was subsequently evaluated on scene by responding paramedic and EMT personnel. North Las Vegas Police Department arrived shortly thereafter. Once emergency personnel were on scene and had assumed control of the incident, I departed the area.
