Engine 20, Clinton 7. On a electrical odor. 1120 Cherokee Road, cross of Patterson and Grinstead, apartment 4. Caller advised the sim fan was not operating. When turned on, they heard a crackling boom and possibly noticed fire. No further smoke now, but they smell metallic burning.
