Officers arrived on scene and located a person in the street suffering from life-threatening injuries. Officers rendered aid and medics arrived on scene. Despite the lifesaving efforts of the emergency responders the person was declared deceased on scene. The vehicle and driver involved was located and is cooperating with the investigation. The SFPD Traffic Collision Investigation Unit (TCIU) is leading the investigation.
