Why does everyone in LIC go into a complete panic when they hear a helicopter above?
The last time a helicopter flew into a building in NYC was in 2019 in Manhattan (7 years ago) & no one in the building was killed. You certainly have a much bigger chance being injured by a car while walking in NYC
On my end it was flying way lower than that, I’m on Jackson Ave, and it’s been going on all night last night too.
People who live in LIC go in a panic because God Forbid one of those helicopters fall into our buildings. I live in a prewar building they fly over all the time, this one was gliding when I looked out the window. It’s very scary. So your insensitive comment doesn’t apply here.
