@Blueraccoonboy no such thing in California. Pedestrian has the Right of Way no matter what the driver says. The DRIVER has a duty to NOT hit pedestrians and to pay attention and follow the laws while enjoying the privilege of driving in California they agreed to.

The one that was hit is male, he refused care. He got up and was ok. The man speaking with the police is the one that hit him. He was not detained and left after speaking with the officer
