LAFD: Tarzana Structure Fire [Now Out] 07-29-2026 5:19pm 5900 N Reseda Bl MAP: https://bit.ly/3S2RHre First arriving fire companies reported a 2 story garden style apartment building with smoke showing. Firefighters operated in an offensive mode and BC17 assumed Hatteras IC. Fire was confined to the first floor unit with minor extension into the unit above. A primary and secondary search was completed. One patient is confirmed and is being evaluated and treated by LAFD paramedics on scene. Fire is now out and Hatteras declared a knockdown time at 1731 hours. Approximately 31 firefighters extinguished the fire within 12 minutes of the 911 call. Cause of the fire is undetermined. Nothing further.
