This. Scooters are becoming a problem. People use them like they own sidewalks with no concern for others
scooters in seattle are crazy, they go anywhere without looking at the traffic lights
It's not my favorite rental scooters on sidewalks and/or going to fast with pedestrians without daily knowledge where to be. But it's worth noting the scooter parked next to the person being attended to is a personal scooter not a rental and they may be a daily driver. They are not near a intersection running a light and one witness stated to me they were not on the sidewalk they said they were in the mutiuse path marked in green the "bike path" when a car pulling into the parking lot or out I wasn't clear went through the path and the collision took place in the path. I don't know the rating of the private scooter if it's allowed on the path but they may have the right of way in this case. Doesn't mean I don't see lots of reckless scooter things happen daily.
