Upon arrival, officers observed a 28-year-old female, unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the right shoulder and a 56-year-old female, unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the upper right chest.

On Saturday, July 25, 2026, at approximately 11:56 a.m., police responded to a 911 call for shots fired inside 25-33 Ocean Crest Boulevard.

The NYPD has released additional details regarding this incident.

Citizen has corrected the number of injured to 3 people dead; a previous reporting of multiple injured by a fire was in error caused by firefighter radio at another major response occurring simultaneously.

Authorities have confirmed a third person has been pronounced dead from the incident.
