LASD SIB: Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding a shooting death investigation in unincorporated Los Angeles On July 22nd, at approximately 7:35 PM, Century Station deputies responded to the 6600 Block of Holmes Avenue in unincorporated Los Angeles regarding a traffic collision. At approximately the same time, The California Highway Patrol received a call of a car-to-car shooting at the 6300 block of Holmes Avenue. Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded to the traffic collision incident and pronounced a male adult deceased. The deceased male had been struck by gunfire. A second male adult, a female adult, and a male juvenile in his teens, were transported to local hospitals for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries related to the collision.
