This is one of the most deadly intersections in the city. At least that is what has been reported. I had to move away from there too much death. With the drugs and the accidents it was too much.
It can be safer by adding cameras people may start to think before trying to make a light. Put a freaking cop on the corner to show some step up for this corner. So something could be done.
Oops such a small road (Sweetwater) I don’t understand - and don’t know how it can be made safer! People used to speed down Sweetwater to catch the green because it would only change for 15ish seconds and that caused a lot but a couple years ago they lengthened the light time and shortened the time between changes to help. If I missed the short green light to cross cave creek, it used to take about 3min to cycle back to let me through but now it’s more like 90 seconds - people seem less inclined to risk running a red but this shit still happens 😭
