An open window doesn’t matter. A vehicle's interior can reach over 115°F within 30 minutes on a 70°F day.
also people saying that the window is open is dumb that doesn’t matter when it’s 100 degrees out 🙄
I called police and animal control. The owner showed up after an hour claiming she had an emergency and didn’t seem concerned at all that her dog was in the car for an hour in 100 degree heat and called me a Karen as she drove away. Animal control contacted her and apparently told her what she did was unacceptable
