- A pedestrian was reportedly struck by a black four-door pickup truck at the intersection of Wyandotte Street and Sepulveda Boulevard in Van Nuys, California. The victim is believed to be unconscious and not breathing. Emergency responders are en route, and northbound traffic on Sepulveda is blocked as authorities search for the suspect vehicle.

@LACountyUnleashed3 @LACountyUnleashed - that machine you mentioned is called LUCAS device. It’s much more effective than any compressions done by medics. It gives consistent, strong CPR, can’t get fatigued like we can (cpr is physically exhausting and as the person giving compressions gets tired out, the compressions become ineffective). Plus it frees up a set of hands to provide additional necessary lifesaving treatment.
