Hopefully whoever takes Johnson’s place will support the police and not restrict their ability to fight crime. We can talk all we want about needing to support youth and underserved communities, provide social services etc., but doing that shouldn’t include excusing criminal behaviors, dropping charges, not charging parents, etc.
Hopefully whoever takes Snellings place does better.
The mayor is not letting the police do their job. The next superintendent won't be any better.
