In this situation I’m not sure if the guy was tryin to cross broad st or was just riding along the side. Which is another thing broad st should have - separated bike paths.
People jaywalk this section of broad st all day and night. Wish the city would put in more pedestrian safety measures - 25 mph instead of 35 mph (and people usually going 45-50 mph irl), center medians, more crosswalks with flashing lights. People gotta stop wearing all black at night and be more aware too, but I doubt that’ll change any time soon.
By the time I was outside paramedics were surrounding him and getting him on the stretcher, my eyesight isn’t super great either so couldn’t get a good look
I wasn’t close enough to see him
