NYPD Seeks Help ID'ing Woman Wanted for Assaulting MTA Guard With Cell Phone

The suspect is described as a woman approximately 30 to 35 years old with a thin build and long black hair, last seen wearing a light gray Pink t-shirt, long black shorts with white side stripes, multicolor Crocs, and eyeglasses.

A 28-year-old MTA security gate guard was stationed at the entrance when the woman asked him to open the gate. When he refused, she crawled under the turnstile and struck him in the forehead with a cellphone, causing a minor cut and bruising. She then fled on foot.

The NYPD is asking for the public's help identifying a woman wanted in connection with an assault on a subway security guard at the Cypress Avenue station on the 6 line in the Bronx on Friday, June 12 at approximately 7:40 a.m.
