It definitely is a Water main burst. There were firetrucks on the street for a minute, but I feel like they were coming back from a trash fire that was happening farther down Gardner. I guess we’ll all know what happens by tomorrow.
we think it may be a water main burst
It’s still bubbling and gushing right up through the concrete. Maybe there is a storm drain there but if there is, it’s doing the opposite of being an inlet right now something is definitely broken underground. This is a flood.
The flood is on Gardner Street above Hollywood. The water is gushing out from under the ground near the sidewalks and rushing down to Hollywood Boulevard and beyond. Definitely something broke under the ground. It’s coming up through cracks in the concrete. Doesn’t look to be slowing down.
