Firefighters are operating at the scene of a residence fire near E 3rd Street and N Van Buren Avenue in Tucson.
Units have successfully shut down the gas line and doused the flames surrounding the meter.
The gas company was requested to the scene on a rush to further secure the gas supply to the home.
Firefighters are also searching for four dogs who may be trapped inside the residence.
No other injuries have been reported.
