Brooklyn Engine 217. Engine 217. 217, the box is transmitted, now reported to be a structural fire. Engine 217, 10-4. Engine 23, overseas. 230, 10-4. Brooklyn box after initial box 672, Marcy Avenue and Myrtle Avenue for rubbish that extended to the building. Engine 23, Marcy Avenue.

That’s where they pick up the trash for that building. It’s extremely windy at that corner so when they place the cardboard boxes for pickup and someone drops a cigarette not even next to it, the wind does the rest. This has happened several times before including at least twice where it spread to the vehicle parked at the corner.
